Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Kannada Sangha Pune’s Kaveri College of Arts, Science & Commerce Pune organized an interactive session on “Using AI for Fund Raising and Investor Pitch Preparation” On 28th July 2026, at the A.V. Room, 6th Floor, from 10:30 AM. The session aimed to equip students and aspiring entrepreneurs with the knowledge of leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for effective fundraising, startup planning, and preparing impactful investor pitches.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome. The gathering was graced by the presence of Principal Dr. Mukta Karmarkar, Vice Principal Dr. Anand Buddhikot, and Mrs. Soniya Kumbhojkar, Head of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC). Their presence encouraged students to actively participate and make the most of the learning opportunity. Following the introduction, Vice Principal Dr. Anand Buddhikot felicitated the esteemed resource person as a token of appreciation and respect.
The resource person Dr. Amey Pangarkar, an internationally recognized TEDx Speaker, AI Marketing Strategist, Author, Researcher, and one of India’s leading thought leaders in Digital Marketing and Generative AI. During the introduction, participants were informed about his remarkable achievements, including being recognized by LinkedIn as one of the Top Digital Marketing Voices, receiving the Rising Star in AI 2025 award by Entrepreneur Magazine, and serving as an honorary member of the Google RARE Leadership Academy. His vast experience of consulting numerous national and international organizations, training over 16,000 professionals worldwide, authoring India’s first book on Generative AI, and mentoring startups under the Startup India initiative highlighted his expertise and inspired the audience.
The technical session began with Dr. Amey Pangarkar sharing valuable insights into the rapidly evolving role of Artificial Intelligence in entrepreneurship and startup ecosystems. He explained how AI has transformed traditional fundraising methods by enabling entrepreneurs to conduct market research, identify suitable investors, analyze funding opportunities, and create persuasive investor pitches with greater efficiency and accuracy.
The resource person introduced participants to several AI-powered tools that assist in business planning, financial forecasting, market analysis, content generation, presentation design, and pitch deck preparation. The session also focused on the importance of prompt engineering for obtaining high-quality AI-generated outputs.
Dr. Pangarkar emphasized that while AI significantly enhances productivity and creativity, entrepreneurs must combine AI-generated insights with critical thinking, innovation, and domain knowledge to build sustainable businesses.
The speaker also discussed current AI trends, ethical considerations in AI usage, limitations of AI-generated content, and best practices for responsible implementation of AI technologies in startups and businesses. An interactive question-and-answer session followed, where students enthusiastically interacted with the speaker by asking questions related to startup funding, AI tools, investor expectations, prompt writing techniques, and career opportunities in AI-driven entrepreneurship. Dr. Pangarkar patiently addressed each query with practical suggestions, motivating students to continuously upgrade their AI skills and embrace innovation.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered on behalf of the Institution’s Innovation Council. Overall, the programme strengthened entrepreneurial thinking and inspired participants to leverage AI for innovation, startup development, and impactful business solutions.
