Participation in Drama Competitions
Pune is considered to be the cultural hub of the theatre movement in the state. The college participates in reputed one-act play competitions like Purushottam Karandak, Dajikaka Gadgil Karandak, Bharat Karandak, Thespo, etc. Many students wholeheartedly participate in experimental theatre and undertake professional lights/sound assignments. Not only this, but our students have also made us proud by winning many prestigious awards at Purushottam Karandak, Dajikakak Gadgil Karandak for their acting, writing, direction, team management, etc.
Independence Day and Republic Day Celebration
National festivals are celebrated with patriotic spirit. The national flag is unfurled on this occasion. Students sing and recite the national anthem and the pledge with full enthusiasm. The students from Kaveri Group of Institutes showcase their talent on Republic day.
Ganapati Festival Celebration
The Sarvajanik Ganapati Festival is celebrated in Pune with great enthusiasm. Kaveri College also welcomes Ganapati Bappa the god of knowledge and the arts to its campus for one and a half days. Students enthusiastically perform pooja, decorate the premises, and present performances during these days.
Yuva Spandan
The most sought after event of the college, Yuva Spandan is a cultural extravaganza for the students, by the students and of the students. Competitions like quiz, Mehendi, poster, rangoli, photography, treasure hunt, sketching, drawing, painting, etc are organized. The college is decked up in all finery and the entire college celebrates dress days like traditional day, retro day, hat and ties day, mismatch day, etc.
The gala event of Yuva Spandan is the grand Annual Social Gathering which is conducted in the state of the art auditorium of the college. It is a much-appreciated concert put up by the students. Three hours of power-packed performances are presented which include witty anchoring, funny skits, breathtaking dance, melodious music s, fashion show, and many other acts. The students, parents, teachers, and management members enthusiastically witness the entire show. The electrifying atmosphere on and off the stage gives a never seen before experience. The decoration team leaves the audience awestruck with their creative stage design, backdrop, and props. Many students have been able to recognize their performing abilities, their organizing capabilities, team-building skills, leadership skills, etc during this youth festival.
