Kaveri College has arranged an industrial visit to TATA Green Batteries Pvt. Ltd., Ranjangaon, Pune, was organized on 15th September 2025 to provide students with practical exposure to manufacturing processes and industrial safety practices.
The session began with an informative talk by Mr. Mahendra Jagdale, HR Manager, who introduced the company’s products, market coverage, and key operational features such as safety measures, training programs, and the integration of manual and automated systems.
Students were then guided through the Casting, Pasting, Assembly, Quality Control, and Packaging Departments by Mr. Anup Goyal and Mr. Deshmukh, engineers from the casting department. They explained various stages of battery production and safety procedures followed at each step. At the end of the visit, Mr. Vikramjeet Singh (Plant Head) addressed the students, sharing his valuable experiences and answering their queries in an engaging manner.
The visit was successfully coordinated by Ms. Soniya Kumbhojkar, Coordinator BBAIB and Prof. Nagesh Kanaki, Coordinator BBA along with faculty members. Overall, the visit proved to be highly informative and enriching, giving students firsthand insight into industrial operations, safety, and modern manufacturing systems.
