Department of Commerce organized an online Awareness Session on Finacle Software (for career opportunities in Banking Industry) on 29th Jan 2026 with an objective to acquire the awareness about the Finacle Software used in the Banking Industry, to understand the skills required in addition to academics for the banking industry and to inform the students about the Add on course on Finacle Software.
Resource person Ms. Priya Narayanan shared invaluable insights into the Finacle software ecosystem. As the “language” of the modern banking industry, their expertise provided our students with a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the technical and operational backbone of financial institutions. The session was truly enlightening, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and the practical realities of digital finance.
Mr. C.V. Narayanan guided on the practicalities of modern banking and the evolving industry-skill requirements has given our students a clear roadmap for their future career start. The session covered the key aspects related to the compliance, risk management, and the emerging opportunities within the BFSI sector.
Furthermore, the experts emphasis on the competitive advantages of professional software mastery has sparked a strong interest among our students. The session will help our students who are eager to pursue the Finacle Training Programme (as Add on Course), positioning them as the first fully-equipped batch from Kaveri College to enter the industry with these specialized skills. The session ended with a question answer round, interested students asked the questions and the experts guided them on the positive note. In all 155 students have benefited from the session.
