The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Pune, organized a “Canva Business Plan Poster Competition” on 10 August 2026 as part of its activities for the academic year 2025–26, Quarter IV. The competition was conducted with the objective of encouraging creativity, innovation, entrepreneurial thinking, and effective visual communication among students.
The competition focused on developing business-plan posters using Canva, allowing participants to transform innovative business ideas into visually appealing and impactful presentations. The themes provided for the competition were “Powering Tomorrow Sustainably,” “Trash to Treasure,” and “People, Planet, Profit.” These themes encouraged participants to explore sustainable business models and solutions addressing social and environmental challenges.
Students participated and were given 45 minutes to conceptualize and design an original poster using Canva. Participants were required to create their posters during the competition and were encouraged to use copyright-free images, icons, and graphics. The use of AI-generated posters was not permitted unless specifically allowed by the organizers.
The competition provided students with an opportunity to demonstrate their abilities in business ideation, creativity, innovation, design, and presentation. The participants developed a variety of ideas emphasizing sustainability, responsible consumption, environmental protection, and socially relevant entrepreneurship.
The Canva Business Plan Poster Competition was a meaningful and engaging initiative that combined entrepreneurship, innovation, sustainability, and digital creativity. It encouraged students to “Plan Today, Build Tomorrow, Inspire Change” by presenting practical and innovative business ideas. The event successfully contributed to fostering an entrepreneurial and innovation-oriented culture among the students of the college.
