Senior Specialist Developer , Amdocs. - National Level Innovative Software Project Competition was conducted on 8 February 2020. Dr. Kavita Khobragade, HOD, Computer Science,
Fergusson College , Pune and Mr. Bhalchandra Kahalerkar, Project Leader, BNY Mellon Technology judged the competition. Total 11 Teams participated in the competition. - Mr. Kunal Pagariya, Software Development Specialist, Amdocs conducted a Workshop on Scripting Languages – Nodejs and Ruby on 7 February 2020
- National Level Kaveri Hackthon was conducted on 20 and 21 December 2019. Total 12 Teams from various colleges participated. Mr. Amit Bagaitkar, Director, Product Engineering, Harman International, Mr. Tushar Chaudhari, Program Manager, Harman International and Mrs Madhuri Deshpande, HOD, Computer Science, S. P. College, Pune mentored the students.
- Mr. Ninad Sumant, Alumina conducted a session titled Placement through Hackathon on 30 July 2019. Mr. Ninad gave a brief about various sites conducting online Hackathon and how to take advantage of the same for placements.
- Two Days State Level Workshop on Python Programming
Two days state workshop on Python Programming was organised on 29-30 January 2019. The workshop was inaugurated at the hands on Mr. Shrirang Bapat CTO, Sterlite Tech FortyTwo Labs LLP, Pune. Electronics and Computer Science organized. The objective of the workshop was to impart knowledge about Python to make simple applications. Mr. Rajendra Sapre, Dr. Ambuja Salgaonkar, Dr. Manisha Divate, Ms. Annie Rajan and Mr. Mitul Thakkar conducted various sessions in the workshop. Hands on session were conducted for all the sessions of the workshop. More than 65 teachers and students participated in this workshop. - Ms. Chitra Alavani and Ms. Pallavi Joshi conducted Faculty Development Programme for all faculties of the college on “How to use Google Classroom for ICT Enabled Teaching” and “Awareness about Swayam Courses / MOOC”. The session regarding “Awareness about Swayam Courses / MOOC” was conducted for students of all courses.
- Ms. Shilpa Khadilkar delivered sessions on ‘General Aptitude’ test preparation for students during appearing for Industrial Training/Placement Drive the vacations for two hours from 23 December 2017 to 1 December 2018.
