Kaveri College organized a transformative outreach event titled ‘Yuva Shibir’, On January 11th, 2025, in collaboration with Ramakrishna Math, Pune. This full-day programme was designed to nurture the holistic development of students by focusing on essential aspects such as value education, soft skills, and career guidance.
The event brought together a distinguished panel of speakers, each offering unique insights and wisdom, ensuring an enriching experience for the students. The resource persons included:
- Shri Avinash Dharmadhikari, Founder Director of Chanakya Mandal Pariwar, inspired the audience with his vision and leadership perspectives. He emphasized the importance of self-awareness and setting meaningful goals through continuous self-reflection. He gave a speech on Swami Vivekanandan and role of officers
- Swami Srikantananda, Adhyaksha of Ramakrishna Math, Pune, highlighted the significance of integrating spiritual values into both personal and professional life. His session reminded students of the deeper purpose that guides their journey. He guided the youth to follow the philosophy of Swami Vivekanand.
- Swami Buddhananda, Adhyaksha of Ramakrishna Math, Kolhapur, focused on the power of ethical living and the impact of a person’s approach to challenges. He shared key insights into how one’s mental strength, experiences, and perception can shape success.
- Shri Prashant Puppal, a Career Counselor, provided practical guidance on career planning and skill development. He emphasized the importance of character building, the power of concentration, and the role of self-awareness, decision-making, and unselfishness in achieving one’s goals.
- Dr. Shirish Limaye, former Professor and Head of the Department at Symbiosis College, Pune, motivated students to embrace lifelong learning. He discussed the habit cycle and how good thoughts, actions, and habits can shape character for success.
The sessions were engaging and thought-provoking, providing students with a balanced blend of practical knowledge, ethical values, and soft skills. Participants were encouraged to think critically about their future careers, develop interpersonal skills, and adopt a value-driven approach to life.
More than just an outreach programme, ‘Yuva Shibir’ was a journey of self-discovery for the students of Kaveri College.
