The second awareness session on Finacle Software (for career opportunities in the Banking Industry) was conducted on 10th March 2026, 11 am to 12.30 pm. The objective of today’s training is to provide students with practical exposure to core banking systems and help them understand how technology supports modern banking operations.
HoD Dr. Deepa Sathe gave an introductory welcome speech. During the talk, Mr. Narayanan provided a clear roadmap for students’ future careers, focusing on the practical side of modern banking. He explained key topics like compliance, risk management along with recent examples in the business and industry and the new opportunities growing within the BFSI sector, helping to bridge the gap between classroom theory and the real world of digital finance. Both the experts shared valuable insights into the Finacle software ecosystem, describing it as the “language” of the modern banking industry.
The session also highlighted how mastering professional software gives students a major competitive advantage. Many students showed strong interest in joining the Finacle Training Programme (Add-on Course) to become a fully-equipped batch ready for the industry. During the question-and-answer round, the experts encouraged students to be problem solvers and innovators to become future leaders. The event ended on a positive note, giving students a practical understanding of the skills needed to succeed and grow in the banking world. The Offline training for the Course will commence from 16th March, 2026. In all 48 students have benefited from the session.
