A session on “Influencer Marketing and Brand Authenticity” was organized on 20th September 2025 for all BBA & BBA IB departments. The session was conducted by Dr Sandeep Rathod an expert in Marketing and Social Media Strategy with rich industry experience in building brand identity and managing influencer collaborations.
The speaker explained that a brand is not just a name or logo, but the overall identity and perception of a product or company in the minds of customers. A strong brand conveys values, personality, and trust.
The concept of branding was highlighted as the process of building and maintaining this identity through logos, slogans, packaging, storytelling, and customer experiences. Effective branding helps companies stand out in a competitive market and build long-term loyalty.
Students also learned about the benefits of influencer marketing, including cost-effectiveness, higher engagement rates compared to traditional advertising, and its ability to influence purchase decisions through trust and reliability.
The session was interactive, and students were encouraged to share their opinions about how social media influencers affect their own buying behaviour.
