Department of Commerce under Industry Youth Connect 2026 conducted a Guest Lecture Series: SAP: Industry Skill for being job ready by CMA Chaitanya Mohrir, Manager, Multinational Company on 6th Feb 2026 at AV Hall.
The guest lecture provided a clear roadmap of how SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products) serves as the “digital brain” of modern organizations. The session moved beyond theory, explaining that SAP is not just software, but a vital business tool that connects different departments—like Finance, HR, and Inventory—into one integrated system.
Students learned the shift from older systems to SAP S/4HANA, which allows managers to access real-time business data from any device, including mobiles and iPads. The speaker emphasized that without SAP’s integration, data stays trapped in “silos,” making it hard for businesses to make quick decisions. Through a live demo, students saw firsthand how SAP modules function in a real-world industry setting.
The lecture was highly interactive, leaving students with a better understanding of the technical skills required to be “job-ready” in a data-driven economy. In all 50 students have benefited from the session.
