The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of our college celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st June 2026. The yoga session was organized on the theme “Yoga for Healthy Ageing” to promote the importance of yoga in maintaining physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Dr. Rupesh Thopate was the resource person for the session. He was felicitated by Dr. Muckta Karmarkar, Principal, for his valuable contribution to the program. During the session, Dr. Thopate highlighted the significance of yoga in leading a healthy and balanced life and demonstrated various yoga postures and breathing exercises.
The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from NSS volunteers and staff members. Various yoga activities and practical sessions were conducted, encouraging participants to adopt yoga as a part of their daily routine.
At the conclusion of the program, Dr. Muckta Karmarkar congratulated all the NSS volunteers for their active participation and appreciated their efforts in making the event successful. The celebration effectively spread awareness about the benefits of yoga and inspired participants to embrace a healthier lifestyle.
