Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce, in association with the Quick Heal Foundation, organized a Cyber Security Awareness Skit at Shree Vitthal Rukmini Temple, Karve Nagar, under the “Cyber Shiksha for Cyber Suraksha” initiative on the auspicious occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi. The skit creatively blended spirituality with technology by featuring Lord Vitthal, Goddess Rukmini and Cyber Warriors. Through engaging performances, devotees were educated about online frauds, phishing, fake investment schemes, OTP and QR code scams, digital payment safety, and responsible use of technology.
The event was graced by Mr. Swapnil Dudhane, Nagarsevak (Corporator), Pune Municipal Corporation, Ward No. 30, President of the Urban Cell (Pune), Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), who appreciated the efforts of Kaveri College and the Quick Heal Foundation in promoting cyber awareness through an innovative community initiative. Mr. Sameer Dudhane of Shree Vitthal Rukmini Temple extended valuable support by granting permission and facilitating the successful conduct of the program.
Principal Dr. Mukta Karmarkar appreciated the dedicated efforts of the Cyber Warriors and emphasized the importance of cyber awareness in today’s digital era. She encouraged students to become responsible digital citizens and continue spreading awareness about cyber safety. Vice Principal Dr. Anand Buddhikot congratulated the Cyber Warriors for their enthusiastic participation and appreciated their contribution to creating cyber awareness among the public.
The skit received an enthusiastic response from devotees and visitors, making the Ashadhi Ekadashi celebration not only spiritually enriching but also a meaningful platform for promoting a safer and more cyber-aware society.
