Kaveri College of Arts, Science, and Commerce successfully organized Kaveri Hackathon 2.0 on 27th February 2026. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Muckta Karmarkar, Principal, in the presence of Dr. Anand Buddhikot, Vice Principal, Mrs. Chitra Alavani IQAC and BBA(CA) Coordinator, and Mrs. Soniya Kumbhojkar , co-ordinator BBA(CA). The program was compered by student of TYBBA(CA) Swara Kulkarni. Dr. Muckta Karmarkar welcomed the gathering and encouraged students to think innovatively. In her address, she announced that next year, the Hackathon will be conducted as a flagship program of the institution.
After explaining the rules and regulations, participants were given problem areas and solution sheets, followed by 15–20 minutes for preparation. From 10:15 AM to 2:20 PM, teams worked on developing their prototypes and presentations.
A total of 19 teams participated, presenting solutions on themes such as women’s safety, traffic control, pollution management and environmental awareness. Each team was allotted 7 minutes, including the Q&A session. The judges evaluated the teams based on innovation, feasibility, and social impact.
The prize distribution ceremony was held in the presence of Dr. Muckta Karmarkar, Dr. Anand Buddhikot, Mrs. Chitra Alavani, Mrs. Soniya Kumbhojkar, and esteemed judges Prachi Joshi and Vishal Karnik. The ceremony was compered by Vrushika Mokashi student of TYBBA(CA), who introduced the judges. Ms. Prachi, addressed the participants briefly, encouraging them to focus on real-world problems and congratulating them for taking their first step toward innovation by presenting their ideas confidently.
The prize winners were announced by Shruti Pingale student of TYBBA(CA), and the winning teams were awarded medals, certificates, and a cash prize of ₹3,000.
After thorough evaluation, three winners were declared under the categories:

All participants received e- certificates and goodies, including a paper bag containing a diary, pen, and stickers. The event concluded with group photographs. Overall, Kaveri Hackathon 2.0 was successfully conducted with enthusiastic participation and active engagement from students.
