Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce organized KAVERI THINKFEST 2026: A multidisciplinary Students Research Conference “Reimagining Tomorrow:Youth Research for Global Change” on 24th March 2026. The Inauguration started with Deep Prajwalan followed by Vidyapeeth Geet. Dr. Muckta Karmarkar-Principal, Kaveri College, in the inaugural speech emphasized such conferences provide an academic platform where students, scholars, and experts come together to exchange ideas, present research findings, and explore interdisciplinary solutions to real-world problems. Multidisciplinary research is especially significant as modern challenges are interconnected and require integrated approaches across fields. Further Dr. Pooja Ambole, Convenor addressed the audience and told about the theme “Reimagining Tomorrow” emphasizes the transformative role of youth in shaping a better future. With rapid advancements in technology, environmental concerns, and socio-economic challenges, students are encouraged to think creatively and contribute to sustainable development.
Compere Ms. Priyal Shah introduced the chief guest and felicitation was done by Dr. Muckta Karmarkar, Principal- Kaveri College, Dr Anand Buddhikot- Vice Principal, Kaveri College, Dr. Pooja Ambole, Convenor,Dr. Deepa Sathe, Co-convenor.
The Keynote address by the Chief guest began by expressing gratitude to the organizers and appreciating the initiative of conducting a multidisciplinary research conference for students. The speaker highlighted the relevance of the theme “Reimagining Tomorrow: Youth Research for Global Change” in the context of present-day global challenges. The address emphasized that today’s youth are not just learners but active contributors to knowledge, innovation, and societal development.
After the keynote paper presentation began in which students from different colleges across Pune presented papers. 32 students presented the paper. The conference witnessed enthusiastic participation from undergraduate and postgraduate students. A central component of the conference, students presented their research papers across various domains. Each presentation was evaluated based on originality and innovation, research methodology, practical applicability, clarity and communication. This session helped students gain confidence and receive constructive feedback. Participants represented diverse academic backgrounds, making the conference truly multidisciplinary. The diversity enriched discussions and enabled cross-pollination of ideas.
To encourage excellence, the conference included Best Paper Awards, Certificates of participation. Judges evaluated participants based on academic rigor, innovation, and relevance to the theme.
KAVERI THINKFEST 2026 emerged as a vibrant and intellectually stimulating platform that celebrated the power of youth research.
