The Cultural Committee of Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Pune, successfully organized a series of vibrant cultural events under the banner “Mood Kaveri 2025–26”, celebrating India’s rich cultural heritage, creativity, and artistic diversity. The events included Traditional Day, Filmy Day, and the Annual Social Gathering, conducted from 26th to 30th December 2025, with enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members.
Traditional Day
The Traditional Day celebration was organized with great enthusiasm, providing students a colorful platform to showcase India’s unity in diversity through traditional attire and cultural presentation, on 26th December 2025. Students from various departments confidently displayed regional costumes, reflecting the essence of Indian traditions.
The event was graced by the presence of Principal Dr. Muckta Karmarkar and Vice Principal Dr. Anand Buddhikot, whose encouragement added dignity to the celebration. The competition was judged by Ms. Pallavi Joshi and Ms. Sonali Kadam, who appreciated the creativity, confidence, and authentic representation of culture by the participants. Winners were felicitated with certificates and cash prizes, making the event highly motivating and memorable.

Filmy Day
Filmy Day was celebrated with glamour, creativity, and cinematic excitement, on 27th December 2025. Students portrayed iconic movie characters, delivering famous dialogues and performances, showcasing their acting skills and confidence.
The programme was honored by the presence of Principal Dr. Muckta Karmarkar, Vice Principal Dr. Anand Buddhikot, Mrs. Chitra Alavani (IQAC Head), along with coordinators and faculty members. The competition was judged by Dr. Deepa Sathe and Mrs. Soniya Kumbhojkar, who evaluated participants on costume authenticity, acting, dialogue delivery, and screen presence.Winners were felicitated with certificates and cash prizes, making the event highly motivating and memorable.

Annual Social Gathering
The Annual Social Gathering was organized on 29th & 30th December 2025, the theme “Indian Festivals”, beautifully portraying India’s cultural diversity and unity. The programme began with a serene instrumental performance by Mood Kaveri Studio, followed by traditional invocations like Ganesh Vandana and Shivstuti.
The cultural performances showcased various Indian festivals such as Dahi Handi, Onam, Teej, Ghoomar, Baisakhi, Navratri, Holi, and Mahashivratri. Folk songs, classical dances, fusion performances, and a soulful Radha–Krishna portrayal added depth and emotional richness to the event. The celebration concluded with a grand mash-up dance on “Indiawale”, spreading unity and patriotism.
The events were successfully conducted under the guidance of Dr. Pooja Ambole, Chairperson, Cultural Committee, and was well documented through photographs capturing its vibrant moments.
