The Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce celebrated NSS Foundation Day with great enthusiasm. The event was graced by the presence of our esteemed Incharge Principal, Dr. Muckta Karmarkar, and the Chief Guest, Dr. S.R. Pacharane. The day was filled with activities and inspiring speeches that highlighted the significance of the National Service Scheme (NSS) in fostering social responsibility and leadership among the students.
The program began with VidyaPeeth Geeta. NSS song was performed by the volunteers, which set the tone for the day’s celebrations. NSS PO Mr.Nilesh Nemade in his introductory speech spoke about various activities conducted through NSS. Dr. Muckta Karmarkar addressed the gathering and emphasized the core message of NSS – “Not for me, but for you”. She spoke passionately about how the NSS program encourages students to look beyond their individual needs and work for the betterment of society.
The Chief Guest, Dr. S.R.Pacharane, addressed students and shared his insightful thoughts on management functions such as planning, organizing, coordinating, directing, and controlling are learned by students through NSS and helps the students in their professional as well as personal development He discussed that these skills are learned through NSS and are vital not only in social service but also in everyday life and professional settings.
The Rangoli Competition was arranged for NSS volunteers. Beautiful and intricate designs created by the students were displayed, and the winners were announced during the ceremony. Following students are the winners of the Rangoli Competition

Certificates were distributed to students who had completed two years with a special camp. This was a proud moment for both the students and the faculty, recognizing the hard work and commitment of these volunteers.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered expressing gratitude to all the dignitaries, participants, and volunteers for making the NSS Foundation Day a memorable event.
