The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce commemorated the 135th birth anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar on 15th April 2026 with great enthusiasm and reverence.
The program began with a traditional poojan and garlanding of Dr. Ambedkar’s portrait, performed by Dr. Muckta Karmarkar Principal, Mr. Nilesh Nemade NSS Program Officer, and Mr.Ravindra Bhalerao, Accountant. The ceremony reflected deep respect and gratitude towards the immense contributions of Babasaheb Ambedkar to the nation.
On this occasion, Mr. Ravindra Bhalerao addressed the gathering and highlighted the values of equality, education, and social justice advocated by Dr. Ambedkar. He emphasized the importance of following his ideals in today’s society and encouraged students to contribute towards building an inclusive and progressive nation.
The event witnessed the presence of a large number of faculty members, non-teaching staff, and NSS student volunteers, making the celebration meaningful and inspiring.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the dignitaries and participants for making the event successful.
