A grand rally was organized by Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) on the occasion of Shiv Jayanti with the objective of strengthening patriotism, leadership qualities, and social awareness among youth. The rally commenced in an energetic atmosphere from the historic Shaniwar Wada. A large number of students, youth groups, and citizens actively participated in the event. Patriotic slogans, awareness messages, and cultural enthusiasm created an inspiring environment throughout the rally route.
NSS Volunteers of Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce participated enthusiastically in the rally, demonstrating discipline and a strong sense of civic responsibility. The volunteers supported event coordination, helped spread awareness messages, and ensured smooth conduct throughout the program. Their active involvement reflected commitment to community service, cultural pride, and national values.
The primary purpose of this initiative was to develop leadership skills and personality growth among youth, promote social responsibility, and increase awareness about government initiatives. The rally also aimed to strengthen national unity, foster social harmony, preserve art, culture, and traditions, promote cleanliness and environmental awareness, and introduce the younger generation to the contributions of great leaders in nation-building.
