A session on “Panel discussion with Innovation and Startup Ecosystem Enablers” was conducted on 18th July, 2025 at 10.00 am in AV hall, by Institution’s Innovation Council of college to bringing together young entrepreneurs who are making meaningful contributions in their respective fields. The event aimed to spark innovation, promote entrepreneurship, and offer real-world insights to students. The event began with the Introduction of the Program by Mrs. Soniya Kumbhojkar, President of the IIC, who set the tone by emphasizing the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in shaping the future. Following this, the Welcome Address was delivered by Dr. Muckta Karmarkar, Principal, Kaveri College.
Three accomplished entrepreneurs were invited as panelists for the discussion and were warmly introduced and felicitated, Mr. Amit Bagaitkar, Founder of the “Shikvani” App, an educational platform promoting regional language learning through technology. Mrs. Mukta Pandit, Founder of Bio Basket, a startup that provides sustainable, eco-friendly alternatives to plastic products. Mr. Archit Devadhar, Owner of Nine Lives Cat Café, a unique business combining hospitality with animal welfare and pet adoption.
The panel discussion was moderated by Ms. Ramah Pawgi (SYBBAIB) and Mr. Aman Tiwari (TYBBACA), who skillfully led the conversation with engaging questions about the journey, challenges, and innovation strategies of each entrepreneur.
Mr. Amit Bagaitkar spoke about the conception of Shikvani, the importance of bridging the educational gap using regional languages, and how technology can transform learning experiences. Mrs. Mukta Pandit shared her motivation behind Bio Basket and highlighted the growing need for sustainability in business. She discussed the challenges faced in educating consumers and building a supply chain for biodegradable materials. Mr. Archit Devadhar described his passion for animals and how it led to the creation of Nine Lives Cat Café, a space where customers can enjoy food and beverages while interacting with adoptable cats. He emphasized the value of community and building a business with a cause. The discussion provided valuable insights into innovation, funding, branding, scalability.
