The NSS Unit of Kannada Sangha Pune’s Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Pune, successfully organized a Poster Competition on 25 June 2026 under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. The programme was conducted with the objective of creating awareness among students about the harmful effects of substance abuse and encouraging them to adopt a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. The competition received an enthusiastic response from students, who actively participated by presenting creative and thought-provoking posters conveying powerful social messages.
The participants effectively highlighted themes such as the dangers of drug addiction, the importance of physical and mental well-being, youth empowerment, and the collective responsibility of society in building a drug-free nation. Through their artistic expressions, the students spread awareness about the ill effects of drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and other addictive substances while promoting positive life choices. Many posters carried impactful slogans including “Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life,” “Choose Health, Reject Addiction,” “A Drug-Free Youth Builds a Strong Nation,” “Break the Addiction, Embrace the Future,” “Healthy Mind, Healthy Body, Drug-Free Society,” and “Nasha Mukt Bharat, Swasth Bharat.” The competition served as an effective platform to inspire students to become ambassadors of a drug-free society and reinforced the message that awareness and responsible actions are the key to achieving the vision of a Nasha Mukt Bharat.
