The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Kannada Sangha Pune’s Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Pune, successfully organized a Poster Competition under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan on 25th June 2026 in the Electronic Lab. The competition aimed to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to encourage them to become responsible citizens committed to building a drug-free India.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from NSS volunteers, who showcased their creativity through informative and impactful posters based on themes such as “Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life,” “Choose Health, Choose Future,” and “Nasha Mukt Bharat.” The posters effectively conveyed strong social messages promoting a healthy, addiction-free lifestyle.
The Prize Distribution Ceremony was held on 1st July 2026, where the winners were felicitated for their outstanding creativity and meaningful presentations. Certificates were also distributed to all participants in appreciation of their efforts and active involvement.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Muckta Karmarkar, Principal, with the support of Dr. Anand G. Buddhikot, Vice Principal, and was coordinated by Mr. Nilesh Nemade, NSS Programme Officer. The event concluded with a message encouraging students to act as ambassadors of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and spread awareness in society for a healthier and drug-free future.
