The Women’s Forum of Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Pune, organized a Poster Presentation Competition on 9th March 2026. The event was conducted to promote awareness about Gender Equality and Gender Sensitivity among students and to encourage them to express their ideas creatively through art.
Students from different classes actively participated in the competition by presenting creative posters that reflected the importance of equality, respect, and equal opportunities for all genders. Participants were allowed to submit either handmade posters or digitally designed posters (Canva). The posters were submitted at 9:00 a.m. on the day of the event.
The posters displayed various powerful messages such as breaking gender stereotypes, equal rights and opportunities, empowerment of women, education for all genders, and the importance of mutual respect in society. Many posters also highlighted themes like “Strength and Serenity Do Not Have a Gender,” “Break the Bias,” and “Equal Future – Not He or She, Only Humans.” Through creative drawings, colors, and meaningful slogans, students effectively conveyed the need for a more inclusive and equitable society.
The Winners of the Poster Presentation Competition were announced on 12th March 2026 and were given Cash Prize. The first prize was won by Ms. Anagha Patil from SYBA who received a Cash Prize of Rs. 500 and the second prize was won by Ms. Tanvi Sandip Lawarde from FYBSc. CS of Rs. 300.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation and creativity from the students. The posters reflected thoughtful ideas about overcoming social barriers, promoting education, and encouraging equal participation of all genders in every field.
