TechUtsav 2025-26, organized by the Department of BSc (CS), MSc(CS) and BBA(CA) at Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Pune, was conducted from 16th to 20th September 2025. The annual tech festival aimed to foster innovation, creativity, critical thinking, and technical excellence among students of BBA(CA), BSc(CS), and MSc(CS).
This five-day interdepartmental fest offered students a platform to demonstrate their technical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities through competitions, workshops, and career-building sessions. The fest had a series of engaging events—including technical competitions, creative design contests, interactive quizzes, and expert sessions—were conducted. It also provided a platform for teamwork, communication, and career readiness.
The festival witnessed active participation from students across programs, supported by dedicated faculty coordinators and enthusiastic student volunteers. Expert sessions from industry professionals added value by guiding students on current trends, skills, and future career pathways in technology.
The Prize Distribution Ceremony was held on 20th September 2025, recognizing the winners and applauding the efforts of all participants and volunteers who made TechUtsav 2025-26 a resounding success.
Day 1 – 16th September 2025
Event 1: Prompt Challenge – The AI Command Challenge
Students used ChatGPT to create static websites by crafting only two well-structured prompts. The event tested prompt clarity, innovation, and final output.

Event 2: CodeSleuth – The Dry Run Challenge
This C-programming logic contest required participants to manually trace code and prepare dry-run tables without executing it. It focused on logic building and debugging skills.

Day 2 – 17th September 2025
Event 3: Byte Quest – The Ultimate Tech Trivia
A 4-round quiz event with elimination, audio, visual buzzer, and final buzzer rounds. It tested technical knowledge, alertness, and creativity under pressure.

Event 4: Design Dash – Poster Making Competition
Using Canva, students designed digital posters on tech and social themes like cybersecurity, education, and sustainability, judged on creativity and relevance.

Day 3 – 18th September 2025
Event 5: Reel Making Competition
Participants created engaging reels to simplify complex tech concepts. Reels were judged on creativity, clarity, and relevance to themes like AI and algorithms.

Second Prize: Shravani Gawade & Megha Guttedar (TY BSc CS) – 404: Myth Not Found
Consolation: Sandesh Walhekar & Aditya Khorpade (TY BSc CS) – Algorithms in Real Life
Event 6: Fun Games – Team Building Activities
A mix of physical and logical games like Colour Jump, Paper Chain, Tech Word Game, and Cup Balancing, designed to promote team bonding and communication.

Day 4 – 19th September 2025
Career Session: “31 Gems – Discover, Learn, Shine”
Conducted by Mr. Amit Kothari, the session focused on 31 actionable ideas for personal and professional growth. It encouraged self-awareness, confidence, and skill-building for career success.
Day 5 – 20th September 2025
Expert Talk: Current Technological Skills Required for Placements
Mr. Himanshu Shrotri (CTO, GRAAS) conducted a practical session on aligning academic learning with industry trends. He spoke about AI, ML, Deep Learning, and demonstrated real-world tech tools.
Conclusion
TechUtsav 2025-26 successfully blended innovation, learning, and fun. The enthusiastic participation, well-organized events, and insightful sessions helped students sharpen their skills while enjoying the vibrant tech culture of Kaveri College. The grand prize distribution on 20th September 2025 marked a fitting close to this enriching festival.
