The students of SYBBA-IB (27 students) and SYBBA (15 students) visited the Coca-Cola Plant at Pirangut as part of an industrial visit. The students assembled at the college at 9:00 a.m. and departed by two college-arranged buses at 9:30 a.m., reaching the plant at approximately 10:45 a.m.
After completing the entry formalities and safety procedures, the students were divided into two groups for the factory tour. The plant employees explained the production processes of Predator Energy Drink and Kinley Packaged Drinking Water. Students observed water treatment, ingredient mixing, automated filling, capping, labelling, coding, quality inspection and packaging. The visit provided valuable insights into the use of modern machinery, automation, hygiene standards and quality-control measures in large-scale manufacturing.
Following the tour, refreshments were provided, and an interactive question-answer session was conducted with plant employees. The discussion covered production, supply chain management, marketing, finance, human resource management and environmental practices, helping students connect theoretical concepts with practical industrial operations.
The visit concluded at approximately 2:00 p.m., and the students and faculty members returned to college by 3:15 p.m. A letter of gratitude was presented to the plant representatives for their support and guidance.
Overall, the industrial visit was an informative and enriching experience that enhanced students’ understanding of manufacturing processes, teamwork, operational efficiency and industrial management. It successfully bridged the gap between classroom learning and practical exposure.
