The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Pune, celebrated Azadi Ka Amritkaal on 23rd August 2025. The theme of the program was “Empowering Youth for a Self-Reliant India.”
The program began with a Welcome and Introduction by the student Volunteer followed by Mrs. Soniya Kumbhojkar, President IIC who set the tone of the celebration and highlighted the importance of the event.
This was followed by the Lighting of the Lamp and Saraswati Vandana, performed by the Dr. Muckta Karmarkar, Principal and the Chief Guest, Mr. Sandeep Bhansali symbolizing the start of the program with wisdom and positivity.
Next, the Principal, Dr. Muckta Karmarkar, addressed the gathering and encouraged the students to actively contribute towards the nation’s growth by embracing innovation, creativity, and self-reliance.
The Introduction and Felicitation of the Chief Guest was conducted, after which the Guest of Honour, Mr. Sandeep Bhansali, Founder of Digital Azadi, delivered his Keynote Address. In his inspiring talk, he emphasized the role of digital empowerment, entrepreneurship, and innovation in nation-building and urged students to contribute to the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
Following this, the Prize Distribution Ceremony was conducted, where winners of various competitions were felicitated, recognizing their talent, efforts, and achievements.
