The Department of Commerce conducted A Research Methodology Workshop for the students of Post Graduation from 12th February to 14th February with an objective of making students aware about how to analyse Primary Data and which research topic in the current era is one which can be undertaken as a research project. The objective of this event was to help students gain insights about Research Methodology techniques for the students by the experts. Another objective was to gain practical knowledge about Research Methodology techniques through hands-on practical implementation.
The workshop began with the introduction and felicitation of Honorable speaker Dr. Sunita Bhole [MBA, Diploma in Labor Laws and Labor welfare (DLL & LW), Ph.D.] by Dr. Deepa Sathe, HOD, Commerce. Dr. Sathe addressed the students about the Research Methodology Workshop and the need of an hour where students should get an exposure in implementing research using statistical techniques and tools.
Dr. Bhole discussed the current topics which can be undertaken for research. The speaker gave a detailed idea on how to use statistical tools along with hands-on practice. She also shared practical implementation on how to apply the statistical techniques while classifying and coding the primary data. Many students amongst the audience have asked questions based on the current topics wherein research can be conducted, Interpretation of results. This insightful session was attended by more than 25 students of Mcom 1 & II.
