A session on “Raising Capital and Managing Finances for Start-ups” was conducted on 26th March 2025, Wednesday, at 10.00 am in AV hall to provide valuable insights into financial planning and fundraising strategies for budding entrepreneurs. The session was delivered by CA Mrs. Aditi Kavathekar, Senior Manager – Accounting – India Accounting and Compliance & Shared Services, BMC Software India Pvt. Ltd. Mrs. Soniya Kumbhojkar, President IIC , addressed the audience.
Mrs. Aditi emphasized the importance of strategic financial planning, investment decisions, and maintaining financial discipline to ensure long-term success. The session was highly interactive, with students raising relevant questions and engaging in discussions with the speakers. Overall, it provided a comprehensive understanding of financial aspects that every entrepreneur must consider when launching and managing a start-up.
This session not only enhanced students’ knowledge but also encouraged them to think critically about financial decision-making in the business world. In all 70 students attended the session.
