Kannada Sangha Pune’s Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce, organized a Two-Day Kaveri Arts Festival on 5th & 6th April, 2023. Dr. Ashok Agrawal, Principal and Dr. Muckta Karmarkar, Vice Principal inaugurated the Arts Fest. Kaveri Arts Festival with a bundle of various entertainment activities had the main objective to help the students engage in creative activities and to let them unleash their skills. Ms. Suchismita Mohanty (BA Coordinator) briefed about the activities to be conducted in two days of Arts festival.
The event started with the “Street Play Competition” in the college stilts. Students tried to spread a social message through their complete act and performance.“Self-Composed Poetry Competition” was held with topics grounded upon the parents, love, independence, friendship, imagination and many more were depicted through the narrations of poems. Ms. Sonali Deshpande, Faculty of Marathi and Ms. Gayatri Sathe, Faculty of English were the judges for the competition. “Photo-story Competition” which was relevant to Incredible India (in terms of food and attire)got a huge response.Dr. Shweta Bapat (Coordinator of BBA & BBAIB) and Ms.Bhakti Joshirao judged the competition.
On 6th of April, the “Open Mic” event was organized to showcase the talent of the students in the form of singing, dancing, poetry and many more. There were a total of 10- 12 participants involved in this session. The main attraction of the Kaveri Arts Festival was the “Kaveri Karnival” which got a tremendous response. There were stalls relating to games, snacks and some interesting jewelry products and cosmetics designed by the college students. Total 14 stalls were involved in the fair. More than 200 students . The fest was concluded with a vote of thanks and an applaud to all the participants and student volunteers who made the festival a big success.
