A placement drive was organized at Kaveri College, in collaboration with B.U. Bhandari, 8 January 2025 featuring a team from the company led by Mr. Amol Dalvi (General Manager-HR) and Mr. Amol Soma (General Manager-Sales). The event aimed to provide students with an opportunity to interact with the company representatives, gain insights into the organization, and explore potential career opportunities.
An informative session was held in AV Room II, where Mr. Amol Dalvi and Mr. Amol Soma introduced the company, its operations, and the available roles. The session helped students familiarize themselves with B.U. Bhandari’s work culture, core values, and career opportunities in both HR and Sales departments. This session served as a valuable opportunity for students to ask questions and clarify any doubts they had about the company’s expectations and recruitment process.
Following the interaction, the HR and Sales Head conducted individual interviews with the candidates. These interviews were based on ratings of the students’ skill sets, which were evaluated through direct interactions. The candidates were assessed for their technical knowledge, communication skills, and overall fit with the roles available at B.U. Bhandari. Out of the 14 students who participated in the drive, the results were as follows:
- 2 students received full-time job offers.
- 6 students were selected for a 3-month internship with a stipend of ₹15,000 per month. These interns also have the opportunity for continued employment on the company’s payroll based on their performance during the internship period.
The placement drive was successful, with 8 students securing opportunities with B.U. Bhandari, either through direct employment or internships. The company’s proactive approach in interacting with students and offering both full-time and internship roles provides students with excellent growth opportunities. Future drives could benefit from a wider reach to more students and more detailed preparation sessions to further enhance student-company engagement.
