National Science Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. This year the theme of Science Day celebration was “Indigenous Technology for Viksit Bharat”. On this occasion a Project Exhibition was organized based on this year’s theme. Dr. Ashok Agrawal, Executive Director Academics (Higher Education) of the College and Dr. Muckta Karmarkar In-charge Principal graced the occasion during the exhibition. The exhibition was inaugurated at the hands of Dr. Muckta Karmarkar. In her address, Dr. Muckta Karmarkar motivated and congratulated all the students for their efforts in developing innovative projects. She further guided the students to work on sustainable features of their projects. Dr. Anand Buddhikot explained the importance of National Science Day and the main purpose behind the exhibition. He informed that the National Science Day is celebrated on 28th February every year in India. The day is celebrated to commemorate the discovery of the “Raman effect” by Indian physicist Sir Chandrashekhar Venkata Raman (C.V. Raman).
The Project exhibition include working projects like Heart Rate Measurement System, WiFi Switch, Obstacle Detection Car, Laser Security System, RFID Door Lock System, House Hazard Detection System, Water Level Indicator, Windmill, Tilt Switch, Bike Alarm, Light Dimmer, Laser Sensor, Rain Detector, Smart Stick for Blind, Fire Alarm, Digital Lock, Smart Dustbin, Metal Detector, Soil Moisture Detector, Such various innovative projects. More than 35 projects were presented in the exhibition. All staff and students in large number visited the exhibition to encourage and motivate the students with their creativity.
