Kannada Sangha Pune’s Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Pune had organized Commerce Horizon 2024 – 25 under the Department of Commerce which consisted of 6 different competitions on 24th and 25th February 2025.
Commerce Horizon 2024-25: Brand Mania Quiz Competition
First competition of the event was the Brand Mania Quiz Competition on 24th February 2025, Monday, from 8:30 am to 11:00 am. Students registered in teams of two. An elimination round was conducted in offline MCQ quiz format. Top five teams were selected for the ‘Brand Mania Quiz Competition’. Mrs. Bhakti Joshirao and Mrs. Jyoti Bhange were the Teachers In-Charge for the competition. The top five selected teams had to compete in the total of 5 rounds. The first round was named ‘2024 Brand Knowledge’ where participants were judged on domains like 2024 brand knowledge. The second round of the competition was Guess the Correct Logo round; this was a buzzer round. The third round of the competition was the jingle round which was an individual Participant round. The fourth round was an advertisement round while the fifth and last round was brand rapid fire consisting of 10 questions per team.
Ved Anil Mundekar and Aryan Ashok Harpude from TYBBA CA won the First Prize worth Rs. 750 and Shubhrato Karmarkar and Om Keskar from SYBCOM won the Second Prize worth Rs. 500. Total 20 teams had registered for the Brand Mania Quiz Competition.
The students incharge for the competition were Om Gaikwad and Narayani Gogate students of FYBCOM while the volunteers for the competition were Riya Gote student of TYBCOM and Aman Singh and Rohan Alwandi students of FYBCOM. The Quiz master for the competition was Mr. Om Gaikwad. Total 35 students had witnessed the competition as an Audience.
Commerce Horizon 2024-25: Amhi Sare Vyapari Competition
Kannada Sangha Pune’s Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Pune had organized Commerce Horizon 2024 – 25 under the Department of Commerce which consisted of 6 different competitions on 24th and 25th February 2025. Second competition of the event was Amhi Sare Vyapari Competition on 24th February 2025, Monday, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Students registered in teams of four. Registration Fee was Rs 50 per participant. An initial amount of Rs. 200 was given as capital to each team and were asked to report after three hours. After receiving the capital amount all teams departed towards the field. The teams were instructed to keep reporting their activities through photos and videos. At 12.30 pm all 4 teams reported in the AV Room on 6th Floor. All teams were given a cost-profit analylsis sheet wherein they had to fill in the details such as cost of the products, price strategies adopted, human resource management skills, money management skills, etc. Then it was time to judges round, wherein each team had to share their experiences along with their photos and videos.
Students from various colleges had registered and participated. Total 5 teams with 21 participants had registered for Amhi Sare Vyapari Competition. Dr Pooja Ambole, Coordinator-BA judged the competition. Dr Deepa Sathe & Mrs Kalyani Oltikar were the teacher Coordinator for the event.

Commerce Horizon 2024-25: Meme-Ansa Competition
The Department of Commerce at Kaveri College successfully organized the Meme-Ansa competition on 24th February 2025 as part of Commerce Horizon Week. The event, held in the AV Room, saw participation from 37 students and an audience of 17, total 54 attendees.
The competition encouraged students to creatively express commerce-related concepts through memes, emphasizing their role in digital marketing. Dr. Muckta Karmarkar, Principal, inaugurated the event, with Dr. Anand Buddhikot and Dr. Deepa Sathe in attendance. Filmmaker & Producer Mr. Ashwin Ranade judged the competition. Participants presented their memes via Google Meet, and winners were awarded cash prizes:

The event was interactive and engaging, reinforcing the “fun and learn” approach to commerce education. It successfully highlighted memes as an effective medium for communication and creativity.
