The NSS Unit of Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Pune organized a “Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan” event from 11th to 15th August 2025 as part of the Independence Day celebrations. The initiative aimed to instil patriotic values and encourage students as well as the community to hoist the National Flag at their homes with pride.
As part of the program, students enthusiastically participated in two key activities:
- Selfie with Tiranga : Students proudly clicked selfies with the National Flag at their homes and on the college campus, expressing their respect and commitment towards the nation.
- Quiz on the National Flag of India : An online quiz was conducted through a QR code, allowing students to enhance and test their knowledge about the history, significance, and code of conduct associated with the Tiranga.
The large number of students actively engaging in both activities. This initiative not only spread awareness about the importance of the National Flag but also rekindled a sense of unity and national pride among the youth.
The celebrations concluded with a strong message of patriotism, unity, and responsibility towards the nation. Dr. Muckta Karmarkar, Principal, and Dr. Anand G. Buddhikot, Vice Principal, appreciated and encouraged the volunteers for their spirited involvement and sincere efforts. The campaign was successfully conducted under the able leadership of NSS Programme Officer, Mr. Nilesh Nemade, whose dedicated guidance and coordination ensured the smooth execution of the event.
