Kannada Sangha Pune’s Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce inaugurated two upgraded computer labs equipped with latest technology namely ‘Sir Visvesvaraya Tech Lab’ and ‘Kaveri SPEC (Skills, Placement, Entrepreneurship, Career Counselling) Lab. On the occasion of 77th Independence Day both advanced and upgraded labs were inaugurated at the hands of Kannada Sangha Pune’s President Mr. Kushal Hegde, Secretary Ms. Malati Kalmadi and Trustee Shri. Balajith Shetty. Principal Dr. Ashok Agrawal and Vice-Principal Dr. Muckta Karmarkar supported and guided for the upgradation of lab. Importantly, the alumni, student and parent representatives of the college were also invited for the inauguration of the lab. Mr. Nitin Deshpande, Director- Cummins India Pvt. LTD was the parent representative, Alumni Ms. Prachi Dabi, Software Engineer, Makers Lab, Tech Mahindra and Ninad Thakur, Budding Entrepreneur, were invited for the inauguration ceremony.
The main objective behind setting up Kaveri SPEC Lab is to create numerous opportunities for students to explore and develop their life skills with a focus on entrepreneurship and placements.
President Mr. Kushal Hegde, especially praised Kaveri college for keeping up-to-date and evolving their labs with the changing technology and wished everyone with best wishes. Secretary Malati Kalmadi reminded everyone about the guiding principles and main objectives of the Kaveri Institute and wished the college a great success. Mr. Ninad Thakur, preferring entrepreneurship, expressed pride that he was invited to the inauguration of the labs. Ms. Prachi Dabi expressed her gratitude for all the opportunities provided by the college for her overall development. All the faculty members of the college were also present on this occasion.
