2-days Induction and orientation programme was organized for the first-year students of B.Com., B.Sc. (Computer Science), B.B.A.(CA), B.B.A.(IB), B.B.A. & B.A. in Kaveri College for their formation on 3rd and 4th August 2022 at Shakuntala Jagannath Shetty Auditorium of the college. Along with the students, parents were also invited for the event, that was a remarkable feature of this programme. A student orientation programme was held to welcome the first-year students and make them aware of college life.
Principal Dr. Ashok Agarwal, Vice Principal Dr. Mukta Karmarkar, Guest Speaker Dr. Ashish Tawkar-Leadership Mindset Coach, Pune and Motivational Speaker Dr. Sharda Bapat,Career coach Mr. Anirudh Pathak were present for this programme. Principal Dr.Ashok Agarwal welcomed all the students in his welcome speech and congratulated them for choosing Kaveri College for their educational journey for the next three to five years.
Dr.Ashish Tawkar, in his address, inspired the students to focus on life through an inspiring session on “Mantra of Successful Life”. On this occasion, he asked the students to have an eager and positive attitude towards setting goals in life to realize and accomplish their dreams. He said that everyone’s path to reach the goal may be different, but it is important to be persistent. He said that we should prepare ourselves to overcome the various adversities and obstacles that come in life and fulfil our hopes and aspirations and that we should strive beyond the boundaries of our limitations. He gave the mantra to the students to achieve success by making use of the platform and all the opportunities provided by the college for their personality development.
Dr. Sharada Bapat in her address, narrated the challenging journey of the medical science course, which was inspired by desire and curiosity, that too after the age of 35 along with her mundane life, the hard work and experience and the mental satisfaction at the end of the effort in an excellent style and asked the students to increase their curiosity for success.
Career coach Mr. Anirudh Pathak was the guest speaker on Day 2 of Induction and Orientation Programme. Mr. Pathak took hold of the audience in a very enthusiastic manner and unique style. He made the students aware of their future life through his mesmerizing voice. He talked inclusively on varied topics: ethics, self-acceptance, self-love, manners, positive approach, career, sincerity, hard work, etc. He emphasized that our personality is proved by our behavior and speech. He advised students that while living life, we should behave with respect to our parents, guru and society and our behavior should make them feel proud of us. He explained the immense importance of having balance for progress in life at a young age. He gave many examples while dissuading the students from addiction. He told the students to act responsibly while taking a new step in life, and to always think of parents’ love and dignity before doing anything wrong. Mr. Pathak’s session was a roller coaster ride full of emotions, information and fun incidents. He got a huge response from the audience for his wonderful sesion.
Prof. Chaithra Uchil and Prof. Asmita Joshi did the compering and presented a vote of thanks at the end of the programme.
