An industrial visit to Wipro PARI Pvt Ltd. Shirwal plant was organized on 6th May 2023 by the Excursion committee of the college. This visit was conducted for the students of TYBBA (CA), SYBBA(CA) and SYBBA students. Total 70 students visited the plant.
The main objective of the visit was to make students aware of the advanced technology used in manufacture of sophisticated moulds, dies and tools and the product life cycle.
Students were grouped in batches and introduced with “Assembly Shop”, the place where clients’ machines and materials are assembled. Also, students were explained in detail about how Wipro works and handles all clients.
Students got to know about different types of machines used in Wipro Pari for automation. A small presentation was given about how the company started, its founders and a brief about the various domains the company works in. During the question-and-answer session students asked various questions about the industry and its working and got satisfactory answers regarding the same.
Mrs. Chitra Alavani, Dr. Shweta Bapat and Ms. Revati Deshmukh were the coordinator faculty for the industrial visit.
