Kannada Sangha’s Kaveri College of Science & Commerce and Bahishal Shikshan Mandal Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) jointly organized Dr. Babasaheb Jaykar lecture series from 14th January, 16th January and 17th January,2017. The topics for the lecture series were ‘Bhashetil Gamati Jamati’, ‘Shivaji Maharaj and Modern Management’ and ‘Hasyaranjan:Ek patri Karyakram’.
Dr. S. B. Kharosekar, Principal, Kaveri College, Ms. Suchismita Mohanty, Vice Principal, Kaveri College, Ms. Shilpa Khadilkar, Chair Person, Bahishal Shikshan Center, Staff members and participants were present during the inauguration ceremony. The inauguration ceremony commemorated with deep prajwalan.
In the first session, Ms. Jyoti Deshpande discussed various experiences she had while travelling and she also shared funny incidences that took place which occurred due to the different dialects of different regions. In the second session Dr. Ajit Apte spoke on the topic Shivaji Maharaj and Modern Management. He said Shivaji Maharaj was the king who always thought ahead of the time. While making any plan or decision he thinks about the impact of that decision in future.Ms. Ujawala Kulkarni spoke on the topic Hasyaranjan :Ek patri Karyakram’. She gave her insight on the importance of communication and exercise. she guided the students on body language and voice modulation. She further told that because of excessive use of mobiles and internet we are lagging behind in communication.
