The Department of Commerce has organized a Kaveri Commerce Lecture Series based on a theme, Industry Youth Connect 2025 from 10th of February 2025 to 21st February 2025. The fourth lecture of the same was conducted on Making of an Entrepreneur for the AY 2024 – 25 on 21st February 2025 in the AV Room.
Ms. Eesha introduced the resource person Mr. Satyajeet Kaisare [Owner – Sun Foams, Partner in Kaisare Associates, Partner in LLP-Recycle on Wheels], who was felicitated by the Dr Deepa Sathe HOD Commerce.
Mr. Satyajeet Kaisare at the beginning spoke about how he entered into business. He discussed the aspects of starting a business, like problem solving, crunching numbers, SWOT analysis, finding a partner and selecting vendors and customers wisely. He shared some industry examples while explaining the aspects of business. He emphasized enhancing qualities of an entrepreneur – perseverance, smart work, finding solutions, problem solving, honesty and integrity.
Towards the end, students also raised their questions which were answered in the simplest form. This insightful session was attended by approximately 100 students of FY, SY, TY and PG sections.
