The NSS unit of Kannada Sangha Pune’s Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce, organized Voter’s Awareness and New Voter’s Registration Drive in association with Election Commission, Kothrud branch on 15th September 2023. Principal Dr. Ashok M Agrawal, Vice Principal Dr. Muckta Karmarkar, NSS Program Officer Mr. Nilesh Nemade and students in large number were present for the event.
Mr. Sachin Ghorpade (Co-ordinator), Ms. Jyoti Kawankar (BLO), Mr. Dnyanoba Chapare (BLO), Mr. Raju Patole (Co-ordinator), Mr. Rohan Gaikwad (BLO) and Ms. Manisha Kaite from Election Commission Kothrud branch were also present to motivate and inform the students. Mr. Sachin Ghorpade (Co-ordinator) in his address informed students regarding their responsibility towards voting. He further motivated students to enrol their names for voter ID.
After the session a new voter enrolment drive was conducted in which a large number of students took advantage of the same. NSS volunteers actively participated in the activity and conducted the drive successfully.
