An Orientation for internship and Placement Opportunities by Pravi was arranged on December 14th, 2024, for Third Year Students of all courses and M.Sc. Students by Placement and Vocational Guidance Cell. The session was graced by the presence of Mr. Javed Inamdar, the CEO of Pravi company, who shared his invaluable guidance and expertise with the students. Dr. Deepa Sathe, Head, Placement and Vocational Guidance Cell introduced the Resource Speaker. The aim of this session was to provide students insights on what industry expects and what all opportunities Pravi will provide.
The session started with interactive questions related to different Jobs after graduating. During the session, Mr. Inamdar emphasized the importance of thorough interview preparation. He advised students to research the companies they are applying to, tailor their resumes to highlight relevant skills and experiences, and practice mock interviews to build confidence and refine their communication abilities. He also highlighted key areas for students to focus on, including technical skills, soft skills, and a commitment to continuous learning through courses, certifications, and industry articles.
Mr. Inamdar outlined the essential requirements for IT jobs, emphasizing the need for a strong foundation in core technical areas such as data structures, algorithms, databases, and networking. Sir also emphasized the importance of understanding market trends, such as the growing demand. Mr. Inamdar’s practical advice and motivational words inspired them to work diligently toward their career goals. The session was highly successful and set a benchmark for future initiatives.
Pravi Company who are the SAP consultants also offered free training for the students to make them appear for the aptitude exam, based on the performance at aptitude exam, students will be offered an internship of three months. In all 64 students have applied for training, and 48 students have successfully registered for the practice tests offered by Pravi.
The performance of each student is tracked by Pravi and the coordinators of BBA (CA) and BCS (CS) are informed by the placement cell about the performance of these registered students. Orientation was concluded by vote of thanks given by Ms. Revati Deshmukh, teacher in charge from BBA (CA). More than 60 students attended this orientation.
