A Pre-Placement Session was successfully organized for the M.Sc (Computer Science) students on 18th August 2025 in the Sir Visvesvaraya Tech Lab, 4th Floor. The session was conducted in collaboration with Kalpan Infonomics, a reputed organization in the tech industry.
The session aimed to equip students with essential insights and guidance for the upcoming placement season. Mr. Amit Bagaitkar, Director, Kalpan Infonomics interacted with the students and shared their expectations regarding:
- Current hiring requirements
- Desired qualities and skills in potential candidates
- Effective preparation strategies for placement interviews and assessments
Mr. Amit emphasized the importance of communication skills, problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and a solid understanding of core computer science concepts. He also offered practical advice on resume building, interview etiquette, and staying updated with industry trends.
The session was interactive, with students actively participating and raising queries related to the hiring process and career growth opportunities in the tech sector.
