This is the age of electronics and the tiny black chips are making their presence felt in our day to day life. From smart phones to advanced home appliances, hi-tech cars, ultra modern security alarms, electronics is making our life simpler and manageable. The students of Kaveri College displayed these various uses of electronics by creating project models in the exhibition which was held on 3 rd January 2017. The Exhibition was held by the newly established Kaveri Research and Innovation Centre (KRIC).
The Exhibition was inaugurated by Mrs. Malati Kalmadi, Secretory, Kannada Sangha Pune. She encouraged students to take more interest in electrical and electronics concepts and use their knowledge and innovative ideas for the better future of humanity. Dr. S.B. Kharosekar, Principal appreciated the efforts taken by students for their applicable ideas and practical models. Mrs. Suchismita Mohanty, Vice Principal, Dr. Jayashri Bangali, Coordinator, Computer Science and Head of KRIC were also present on the occasion.
About 30 project models were on display by students. They worked individually as well as in groups to create their projects models. They created models on various categories such as home automation, sensory controller, Battery level indicator, smoke detector etc. The Students from B.Com., BBA, B.Sc(Computer Science) also displayed their research projects on subjects such as Dr, Babasaheb Ambedkar: An Economist, Water Pollution, etc. The Students of BBA presented their research projects on Impact on Demonetization, Awareness about Healthy Food Habits among Youngsters, TV Shows and Their Influence on Youngsters, etc.
The Exhibition received a huge response from the students.
