On the occasion of National Science Day, the Department of Computer Science at Kaveri College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Pune, organized an insightful session on “Beyond Coding: Unlocking Careers in Technical Writing” on 7 March 2025. The session aimed to introduce students to the growing field of technical writing and how they can transition into this career path.
The session provided an in-depth understanding of the technical writing profession and its significance in the software industry. Mr. Mundale explained how effective documentation is crucial for product development, user experience, and software usability. He also discussed how aspiring professionals can upskill themselves to enter this field.
Students actively participated by asking questions related to career prospects, required certifications, and industry expectations. The session helped attendees understand that technical writing is not just about documentation but also involves critical thinking, communication skills, and technical knowledge.
