The Department of Commerce has organized a guidance session on Managing B.Com with CA/CS studies on 11th June 2025 at 10:00 am through online zoom meeting. Dr. Deepa Sathe, HOD Commerce, welcomed the guest and all the participants and introduced the resource person Ms. Aariya Kothadiya, SYBCOM Student of Kaveri College, 2nd Rank at FYBCom , 96.83% in HSC examination with First Rank in Maharashtra March-2023. The main aim for organizing this session was to make the students aware of balancing two courses, time management and to connect students with senior students to guide about planning strategies for clearing CA/CS examination.
At the beginning, Ms. Aariya spoke about her journey and experiences during CA entrance preparation. She added that she could get utmost support and assistance from Kaveri college during her difficult times. Attendee students were enthusiastic and interested to listen to her journey and were excited to ask so many questions. Aariya explained that the first step to success is planning. She added, “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail”. The session went very much interactive and informative from the start. Aariya pointed out issues like execution, procrastination, time management, problem solving methods, micromanagement etc. which students find difficult during studies. While guiding the audience, she did not forget to express gratitude for Kaveri College staff for giving motivation, support and assistance. She emphasized the importance of planning, soft skills, perseverance, smart work, solutions-oriented approach, problem solving, honesty and integrity for becoming successful in professional courses.
Towards the end students also raised their questions which were answered by her in the simplest form. This informative session was attended by 70 students and all teachers of commerce. Dr. Deepa Sathe presented a vote of thanks.
