On January 23, 2024, an insightful session titled “Recipe to Crack Interview” was organized in Kannada Sangha Pune’s Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce,Pune. Mr. Sushant Kolhatkar – Navisite, internationally certified life coach, an esteemed IT industry expert, was invited as a guest speaker. The session aimed to equip students with the essential skills, knowledge, and strategies related to the interview and to provide valuable insights and tips for individuals aspiring to excel in IT industry interviews.
The session kicked off with an engaging activity underscoring the importance of staying alert and being aware of the current IT industry landscape. Mr. Kolhatkar provided an overview of industry trends, emphasizing their significance in tailoring effective preparation strategies. A substantial portion of the session was dedicated to highlighting the importance of cultivating a well-crafted personality. Discussions likely encompassed soft skills, effective communication, and presenting oneself positively during interviews.
Participants received practical guidance on boosting self-confidence and maintaining a calm, positive mindset – essential attributes for interview success. Techniques such as mirror activities, meditation, and affirmations were underscored as effective tools for staying motivated. Throughout the session, Mr. Sushant conducted interactive activities focused on building self-confidence, enhancing communication skills, and fostering a positive mindset. These hands-on exercises provided participants with tangible tools to apply in real-world scenarios.
A notable feature of the session was the inclusion of mock interviews. This allowed students to simulate real interview scenarios, providing them with an opportunity to practice responses and receive constructive feedback from both the speaker and peers. The goal was to refine interview skills and enhance confidence.
More than 100 students attended the program in large numbers.
