The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Pune, celebrated “World Entrepreneurship Day” on 21st August 2025 with great enthusiasm. The celebration was organized to encourage and promote entrepreneurial spirit among students. With the theme “Do you have a Startup?”, the event aimed to provide a platform for budding entrepreneurs to showcase their innovative ideas and business models. The program included:
Baatein Entrepreneurs Ki – an interactive session of storytelling by entrepreneurs.
Networking Opportunities – fostering meaningful connections among participants.
Startup Presentations – where students and aspiring entrepreneurs shared their startup concepts and ideas.
A total of four students presented their startup ideas during the session:
- Omkar Palange
- Ramah Pawgi
- Rudra Balkawade
- Samrusshi Oza
Their presentations highlighted creativity, innovation, and problem-solving approaches, and received appreciation from both faculty and peers. A registration process was made available through QR code scanning, ensuring active participation of interested students.
The event was graced by Mrs. Soniya Kumbhojkar (President – IIC) , Mrs. Chitra Alavani ( IQAC Head) and Mr. Nagesh Kanki (BBA Co-ordinator), who appreciated the initiative and motivated students to think innovatively and pursue entrepreneurship as a career path.
Overall, the program successfully inspired students to explore entrepreneurial opportunities and engage in interactive discussions, making it a valuable step towards building a strong startup culture within the institution.
