Induction Program (7–9 July 2025)
The Department conducted an induction programme introducing students to the curriculum, NEP implementation, faculty and institutional vision. Alumni interaction and committee presentations provided valuable career guidance and awareness of co-curricular opportunities.
Bridge Courses for SY & TY B.Sc.(CS) (16–21 June 2025)
Bridge courses were organised to strengthen students’ programming, mathematics and object-oriented programming concepts before the academic year. The sessions enhanced conceptual clarity and academic preparedness.
Session on “From Idea to Implementation: Project Building Essentials” (5 July 2025)
An expert session guided students on project selection, planning, documentation and presentation skills. The interactive programme equipped students with practical strategies for successful project execution.
Virtual Lab Session (25 August 2025)
A Virtual Lab session enabled FY and SY B.Sc.(CS) students to perform programming and data structure experiments through simulations. The activity enhanced practical learning and reinforced core concepts.
CodeSleuth: The Dry Run Challenge (16 September 2025)
As part of TechUtsav 2025, students participated in a programming dry-run competition that tested logical reasoning and code tracing skills. The event promoted analytical thinking through multiple competitive rounds.
Design Dash – Digital Poster-Making Competition (17 September 2025)
The Department organised a Canva-based digital poster competition encouraging creativity and awareness of social and technological themes. Students showcased innovative designs reflecting artistic and technical skills.
Session on Pointers in C (18 December 2025)
An expert lecture introduced students to pointer concepts, memory management and their applications in C programming. The session strengthened students’ understanding through practical examples.
Embedded Systems – Bridging Electronics and Computer Science (20 December 2025)
The session introduced students to embedded systems, microcontrollers and IoT applications, highlighting the integration of hardware and software. It also provided insights into emerging career opportunities.
National Mathematics Day (22 December 2025)
National Mathematics Day was celebrated with an expert lecture on Gradient Descent in Machine Learning and a project exhibition showcasing innovative mathematical applications. The event promoted analytical thinking and interdisciplinary learning.
Session on CodeIgniter (17 January 2026)
Students attended a hands-on session on the CodeIgniter PHP framework covering MVC architecture and web application development. Practical demonstrations enhanced their understanding of framework implementation.
Session on Spring Framework (24 January 2026)
An expert session introduced students to the Java Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate and Servlets for enterprise application development. A quiz and demonstrations reinforced key concepts.
National Science Day Celebration (28 February 2026)
National Science Day was celebrated with an expert lecture, science exhibition, drone demonstrations and interactive scientific activities. The programme inspired scientific curiosity and innovation among students.
Professional Readiness Workshop (14 March 2026)
A one-day workshop on resume building, LinkedIn, interview preparation, workplace ethics and emotional well-being equipped students with essential employability skills. Industry experts and alumni shared practical insights for career success.
